The next advantage is operational design

The first wave of AI experimentation is giving way to a harder question: can creative businesses redesign their actual operations around it?

Audit
Map repetitive work across briefing, production, review and delivery.
Design
Choose one reliable AI-assisted workflow with clear ownership.
Document
Record quality checks, rights decisions and client-facing boundaries.

The Story

Design Week’s reading of the CBI and Oliver Wyman’s latest AI report points to an “execution divide”: many organisations have tried AI tools, but fewer have integrated them into core operations.

That is a useful distinction for an independent studio. A scattered collection of clever prompts is not a capability. A capability has a place in the workflow, a quality threshold, an owner and a reason to exist.

The practical move is to document one repeatable Studio Wensday pipeline—from brief to first options to final files. Small, legible systems will outperform a large, unstable pile of experiments.

Studio Wensday Angle

Position process design as the bridge between AI curiosity and reliable creative delivery.
