The Story

Many creative projects fail quietly because the reasoning lives in scattered documents, messages and memory. Figma’s new Specs feature treats context as something that should travel with the work.

That is a useful prompt for Studio Wensday: make the brief, principles and trade-offs visible enough that collaborators—and future Wen—can understand why a system is the way it is.

The opportunity is not more documentation for its own sake. It is a clearer creative spine: fewer disconnected files, fewer repeated explanations, better decisions.

Studio Wensday Angle

A reminder that creative systems need narrative and rationale, not only components.
