Craft is becoming a strategic differentiator
At Germany’s 2026 ADC Design Conference, speakers returned to typography, motion, branding, systems, and individual judgement in the age of generative AI.

The Story

Its emphasis is a useful counterweight to speed-first narratives. As production becomes easier to automate, the visible difference may increasingly come from sharper editing, more specific references, stronger typographic decisions, and a point of view that can survive variation.
For Studio Wensday, this is permission to make craft explicit in the offer. Show the thinking behind the work, explain the decisions that create distinction, and let clients see that direction is not decoration added after the strategy—it is how the strategy becomes recognisable.
