Creators need a seat before the campaign is designed
IAB’s CreatorFronts recap argues that creators should shape campaign architecture earlier, rather than being added later as distribution channels.
Engaging Creators earlier in the strategic design of campaign architecture
The useful shift is from creator content as media inventory to creator expertise as part of the idea itself.
The Story
The IAB’s first CreatorFronts recap focuses on infrastructure, measurement and trust—but one point is especially relevant to creative direction: creators are being invited into campaign architecture earlier.
That is more than a casting change. Creators bring format knowledge, audience intimacy and a sense of what will feel native rather than merely adapted. When they enter after the concept is fixed, much of that value is lost.
For a studio, this creates a stronger offer: design the central idea with creators, not just for them. The result can be more specific, more credible and easier to extend across a portfolio of voices. ([iab.com](https://www.iab.com/blog/2026-iab-creatorfronts-event-recap/?utm_source=openai))
