Web agents are moving closer to the production surface
Webflow’s latest MCP update lets agents build interactions, work faster with CMS content, and deploy or debug Webflow Cloud apps.
The Story
Webflow says agents can now build interactions, filter CMS content more quickly, and deploy or debug a Webflow Cloud app through MCP. The direction is clear: agent work is moving beyond mockups and into live site operations. ([webflow.com](https://webflow.com/updates))
That makes review design more important, not less. The creative designer is increasingly setting the boundaries: which components are safe to modify, which content fields are canonical, and what must be checked before release.
For a small studio, the practical model is a constrained production loop. Let the agent handle bounded implementation, but keep visual QA, content judgement, responsive behaviour, and final publishing decisions human-owned.
