The design system is becoming a creative tool library

Figma now lets people publish custom Weave tools to Community for repeatable image and vector generation inside Figma Design.

Figma release notes describing publishable Weave tools

The Story

Figma has opened a path for custom Weave tools to be published to the Figma Community. Creators can build repeatable generative workflows for images and vectors, then make them usable directly on the canvas. ([figma.com](https://www.figma.com/release-notes/))

That matters because the valuable asset is no longer only the generated image. It is the repeatable recipe: the constraints, inputs, transformations, and visual checks that make a whole family of outputs feel related.

A Studio Wensday opportunity is to build small creative utilities instead of endlessly prompting from scratch: a poster variation tool, a texture generator with fixed compositional rules, or a campaign adapter that protects type and spacing.
