Canva is turning a tool collection into a creative operating system

Canva’s ProSuite connects Affinity, Cavalry, Flourish, and Leonardo across design, animation, data visualisation, and image-making workflows.

The strategic story is integration: brand assets, motion, data, and image work are being designed to travel together.

The Story

Canva’s new ProSuite brings Affinity, Cavalry, Flourish, and Leonardo into a connected professional-creative stack. The release includes Affinity improvements, Canva Brand Kit integration, data merge, and a path for editable Affinity files to move into Cavalry. That matters because visual identity is increasingly a multi-format system rather than a logo package. A brand may need to move from editorial layout to motion, from campaign art to data storytelling, without losing its underlying grammar.

For Studio Wensday, this is a reminder to design the handoffs as carefully as the assets. Name the tokens, define the motion principles, and make the system portable enough that another medium does not become a reset button.

The next brand guideline may look more like a connected production environment.
