The small creative tool is becoming a shareable asset

Figma has opened Community publishing for custom Weave tools, allowing designers to package repeatable image and vector workflows for others to use.

The Story

Figma’s Weave tools can now be published to the Figma Community. The tools can support outputs including image and vector generation, with image and vector tools usable directly in Figma Design. ([figma.com](https://www.figma.com/release-notes/?utm_source=openai))

This is more interesting than another prompt library. It points toward a future where a designer’s repeatable methods—layout exploration, texture generation, visual mockups, asset adaptation—can become portable creative infrastructure.

A Studio Wensday opportunity is to document the “how” behind the work. A useful micro-tool, template, or guided workflow can extend your practice beyond a single client project while making your design thinking easier to understand and buy.

Package your method, not just your finished images.
