The next studio asset might be a tool, not a template

Figma is opening generative Weave tools to Community publishing, turning repeatable creative processes into shareable utilities.

Notice a repeated task
Look for recurring image, vector, video, or 3D production work
Turn the logic into a tool
Encode the inputs, constraints, and output style rather than a one-off prompt
Publish or package it
Share internally, publish to Community, or use it as part of Studio Wensday’s service layer

The Story

Figma now supports publishing custom Weave tools to the Figma Community. Image and vector tools can also be used inside Figma Design, while other output types remain available in Weave. ([figma.com](https://www.figma.com/release-notes/?utm_source=openai))

This is a quiet but important business-model signal: creative expertise can be packaged as a repeatable workflow. The valuable thing is no longer only the artifact; it is the method that reliably produces a family of artifacts.

A useful Studio Wensday experiment would be a branded campaign generator, editorial image maker, or admissions-social toolkit. Make the taste explicit, then let the tool handle the repetition.

Studio Wensday Angle

Package your process before someone else turns it into software.
