Figma Weave tools can now be published to Community, bringing custom image and vector generation workflows directly into Figma Design.

Build a repeatable Weave tool
Publish it to Community or keep it private
Use it directly in Figma Design
Scale a visual task without rebuilding the prompt
Document inputs, constraints and review points
Turn a personal shortcut into a team system

The Story

Figma is making its AI layer feel less like a collection of features and more like a place to package creative judgment. Weave tools can now be published to Community, with image and vector workflows available directly inside Figma Design. ([figma.com](https://www.figma.com/release-notes/?utm_source=openai))

The useful shift is from “generate me something” to “help me repeat this specific visual operation.” For a small studio, that could mean tools for campaign variants, moodboard translation, texture exploration or branded illustration—provided the rules are clear enough to preserve intent.

Studio Wensday angle: save the best prompts as designed instruments, not loose text snippets. The value is not the first output; it is the repeatable visual behaviour you can refine, share and teach.

Studio Wensday Angle

Treat AI prompts as studio infrastructure: named, documented and designed for reuse.
