A website can be a useful tool before it becomes a sales page

Framer’s example of building an AEO Scanner and Stack Score with Framer Agents shows how a small interactive utility can create value, capture intent, and open a conversation.

The Story

Framer recently highlighted a lead-generation tool built with Framer Agents: the AEO Scanner and Stack Score. Both give visitors a useful result while giving the team better context for follow-up. ([framer.com](https://www.framer.com/blog/?utm_source=openai))

The interesting move is away from “make a beautiful brochure site” toward “make a small thing people can use.” Utility creates a more natural exchange than asking for an email before offering much in return.

For an independent studio, this could become a repeatable offer: a diagnostic, calculator, scorecard, or mini-audit wrapped in a sharp editorial experience. It is marketing, product thinking, and brand expression in one compact object.
